The News Literacy Project is seeking proposals from school districts to host a NewsLitCamp, a day-long professional development experience based in a local newsroom. NewsLitCamps bring educators and practicing journalists together to discuss news literacy and journalism.

We will be reviewing proposals on a rolling basis beginning in mid-December. We will continue to accept submissions until a proposal is chosen. All proposals will be saved for future consideration as grant funding becomes available. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

This NewsLitCamp is made possible through the generosity of the Google News Initiative and will take place in spring 2022.

To submit a proposal, please complete this form.
