Sift quiz: Fact-checking red flags
Can your students spot common red flags of misinformation? This quiz tests fact-checking skills by examining three examples of misinformation and looking for signs that indicate false claims. Is it an AI-generated image with twisted fingers? A source that lacks credibility? A fake screenshot of a social media post? Have students give this quiz a whirl to find out.
Note: While this quiz includes six questions, only five are scored for one point each. Question 3 is a thinking exercise that students aren’t scored on.
