Lourdes Venard edits The Sift®, Scroll Smarter and Insider newsletters, as well as Checkology® lessons, material for professional learning events and other educator-facing resources. She also edits RumorGuard articles and social media posts. Before joining NLP, Lourdes worked at Pearson Virtual Schools and had a long career in journalism as a newspaper reporter, copy editor and page designer. She graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in communications and holds a master’s degree in media management from the University of Missouri.
