News Literacy Project: Monthly Donate & Support

Your monthly donation makes a difference

This Giving Tuesday, help create the future you want to see—one where credible information determines decisions, misinformation loses its power, and everyone has the skills to discern fact from fiction.

Last school year, because of our supporters, 19,000 educators taught more than 473,000 students news literacy skills using NLP’s resources and programs. By becoming a monthly donor, you empower educators and equip students with the critical thinking skills they need to discern credible information, share responsibly, and stand up for facts. Here’s how:

  • Every gift helps sustain programs like Checkology®, RumorGuard™, and professional development for educators.
  • Your consistent support builds a foundation for the prioritization of teaching essential news literacy lessons in classrooms nationwide.
  • With our end of year $500K Melanie and Richard Lundquist matching gift challenge happening until Dec. 31, new monthly gifts in December will be annualized (x12) and matched by double that amount (Ex. A new $10 monthly gift annualized would be $120, and matched by $240, making it a total gift of $360).

Together, we can make news literacy a priority in classrooms nationwide and prepare young people with the skills and knowledge to lead us into a fact-based future.

Donate today and multiply your impact.

We are deeply grateful for your support. Thank you!
