Aji Bakare works to identify and cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and funders on the East Coast. She manages a portfolio of major donors, corporate foundations, and institutional foundations. Before joining NLP in 2024, she worked as the development manager at State Voices in Washington, D.C., writing grants, managing a sponsorship program and building and deepening relationships with a portfolio of traditional foundation and corporate supporters and individual donors. Aji has a master’s degree in women and gender studies from Towson University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland.
