Colleen Potts is the Senior Manager of District Success at the News Literacy Project, serving as the primary point of contact for district technology teams, instructional leaders, and learning management system integrators. She supports districts through onboarding, integration, troubleshooting, and ongoing engagement to ensure effective use of NLP’s digital resources.
Before joining NLP, Colleen spent nearly a decade in public education as a classroom teacher and instructional coach, partnering with educators to strengthen instructional practice, support diverse learners, and implement curriculum and technology initiatives at the school and district levels. She also brings nonprofit experience leading implementation initiatives in partnership with state and local government agencies, supporting partners through onboarding and training while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and long-term sustainability.
Colleen holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree in teaching with a focus on special education.
