Colleen Potts is the Director of District Success at the News Literacy Project, where she leads district success and customer support efforts to help school systems successfully implement, adopt, and sustain NLP's products and resources. She manages customer support operations, oversees district implementations and integration partnerships, and works closely with educators, district leaders, and cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience, increase educator engagement, and expand student access to news literacy education. 

Before joining NLP, Colleen spent nearly a decade in public education as a classroom teacher and instructional coach, partnering with educators to strengthen instructional practice, support diverse learners, and implement curriculum and technology initiatives at the school and district levels. She also brings nonprofit experience leading implementation initiatives in partnership with state and local government agencies, supporting partners through onboarding and training while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and long-term sustainability. 

She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Georgia Southern University and a master's degree in teaching with a focus on special education.
