Dan Evon oversees producing content for RumorGuard, including articles, classroom slide presentations, video guides and other educational materials. Before joining NLP in 2022, Dan worked as a reporter for Snopes.com, the internet’s oldest fact-checking site, where he monitored disinformation networks and addressed viral rumors. He published thousands of articles, generated millions of views, and (hopefully) made the vast information streams of the internet a little easier to navigate during his eight years there. Dan received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans, where he studied journalism, philosophy and film history.
