Danielle Oviedo manages a portfolio of major donors and prospects, cultivating relationships and leading strategic initiatives to secure philanthropic support and advance news literacy nationwide. Prior to NLP, she was the major gifts officer at the Center for Reproductive Rights, managing a portfolio of major donors and major donor prospects in Southern California and leading the annual Los Angeles benefit. She also worked on a $500 million capital campaign for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Before that, Danielle held roles in board relations and new alumni giving at Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in Spanish and a master’s degree in educational studies.
