Jon Gold is a leader in technology, finance and business development, currently serving as a Managing Director at X, The Moonshot Factory (an Alphabet subsidiary). At X, he plays a pivotal role in preparing ambitious "Moonshots" for spin-out into viable, investor-funded standalone companies.

Prior to joining X, Jon had various leadership roles at Google. He served as Managing Director of Partnerships Strategy and Operations, General Manager of Android One, and Director of FP&A for Platforms, Hardware and Google Play. Jon began at General Electric Corporation in Information Technology and Six Sigma Operations and spent time at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Investment Banking.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science and economics from the University of Michigan.
