Susan Minichiello leads the editorial and audience engagement strategy for two newsletters — The Sift® for educators and Scroll Smarter for families navigating today’s information landscape. Before NLP, she spent a decade at community newspapers in the Midwest and California as a reporter, page designer and editor. Her last newsroom role was education reporter at the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, where her reporting earned two California Journalism Awards. She was also a freelance writer, and an Adventure Cyclist magazine issue that featured her cover story about long-distance bicycling and motherhood received an honorable mention at the Eddie & Ozzie Awards. Susan studied creative writing at the University of Montana.
