News Literacy Project: Monthly Donate & Support

Misinformation divides us. News literacy unites us.

Your donation makes a difference

Last year, 13,450 teachers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia used our news literacy products and resources to reach an estimated 2 million students. And more than 34,000 people attended news literacy training. We also launched our website RumorGuard™, which fact-checks viral rumors and provides concrete tips and context to help you confidently evaluate claims you encounter online.

Our champions’ commitment to our mission makes this progress possible.

While our information landscape rapidly evolves, NLP’s objectives remain the same: helping people build the necessary skills to detect and combat misinformation and fundamentally shifting collective attitudes on information consumption and sharing. Your donation helps ensure a future founded on facts. Thank you!
