Celebrating our 2022 News Literacy Change-Makers
In recognition of their outstanding achievements and commitment to news literacy education during a school year filled with challenges, the News Literacy Project has named the recipients of its 2022 educator, journalist and student of the year awards. The honorees have distinguished themselves in their commitment to news literacy in their classrooms, in their professions and in their daily lives. We also acknowledge their efforts as leading voices in support of news literacy education.

Past honorees
NLP has honored a journalist each year since 2016, a student annually since 2017 and an educator annually since 2020. This is the first year the educator award is named for NLP founder and CEO Alan C. Miller. Read about our previous honorees.
