Countdown to Election Day: Must-Have Teaching Materials
We’re nearing the culmination of an election season that’s been tense and polarizing. In a few weeks, Americans will cast their votes at the polls on Election Day. Some have already signed, stamped and returned their ballots by mail.
Even if your students can’t vote yet, they’ve likely encountered mis- and disinformation aimed at influencing their opinions about the candidates and voting process. Educators can engage with election topics to help students understand the importance of consuming credible information and participating in civic duties.
Use these easy-to-assign resources – ideal for grades 5-12 – to build crucial lessons before Election Day.
