Sift quiz: Artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence has advanced rapidly in recent years and can quickly generate images, text, audio and videos. There are incredible uses for AI technology, like processing vast amounts of data or writing computer code. But these tools can also be used to create and spread misinformation at an unprecedented scale.

This four-question quiz tests basic knowledge of generative AI and includes two AI-generated images for students to examine. Have students complete the quiz individually or as a class to spark discussion.
